Nobody seems to understand that things just aren't what they seem, including myself.
We let our hopes and dreams take hold of us and control our lives, only to be disappointed at the end of each episode. Why?
Why do we not just see things realistically, understand what we have coming, and settle for less?
Whether your dream is to be an amazing actor/actress, or just simply for revenge, why do we have to go to extreme limits to get what we want? We only end up hurting ourselves and others whether we catch the dream or not, so why do we insist on ruining our lives just for that simple feeling of accomplishment, which fades after a week or so?
I can honestly say that I do not understand life at all.
Some are born into poverty, some into fame and prosperity, yet we all seem to fuck up in one way or another, no matter how hard we try not to.
Over three years I have realised that the end for most people in this world is not the end they deserved, at all. Recent losses made me realise that people cannot choose when or how they die, and it's all simply a game of chance. Risk your life and you're likely to survive - cross the road outside your house and you're more than likely to get hit by a car or attacked by retarded teenagers who think they own the world, when they simply just don't understand that other people EXIST.
Why is it that people believe the world revolves around them? Is it because the unknown is truly the biggest fear of them all, and these people react as though their fear can be used as an advantage? Or are these people just extremely ignorant and selfish?
Honestly, nobody can truly trust anybody but themselves. Trust is what is ruining the world. Nobody trusts anymore, which breaks down all kinds of relationships and communication.
I suppose my overall question is, well, WHY?
But that question will never be answered, so I don't know why I bother.
