ROAD TRIP 2009 WAS AMAZIN!!!! You have no idea how good it was. The drive was easy - the ski-ing was amazin - & the weather was perfect! All in all Euro Road Trip was "Big Sucess" & I would recommend the drive to the French Alpes to anyone. In fact we enjoyed it that much we are planning to head back over again for new year. Let the good times roll on!!!

Other than that, I am still always working or enjoying a nice cald pint o' Guinness in the pub!!!

    • Come to Jedburgh - It's a Lovely Place!

      I was wondering when you would get around to telling us what happened in Jedburgh. Now I understand why you left, or it seems, were driven out.

      My own parents brought us to the Borders a few years ago, in the mistaken belief it would be a nice change from the city. The attraction of rolling Borders countryside and a slower lifestyle sounded great to them.

      I think I need only say, we are English, for you to guess the rest of what happened to us.

      The Scottish Borders is far from what our parents thought it was. It has to be the worst place in the British Isles. The people here are nuts, actually, sick, even downright evil, and what you said about the drugs in Jedburgh is old news to me. I think most of the population here are on something which keeps them weird. Has to be something in their blood which just isn't right.

      Jedburgh seems one of the more perverted towns in the Borders from what I gather (glad we didn't live so near after reading what you wrote about it !). The locals are simply awful people and the minute they hear our accents, you can see their faces change to anger, accompanied with the occasional insult towards the english. They cannot get over the fact that England won in the many wars over the centuries which took place here. Yes, England won. Not the Scottish, not the Border Reivers, England was the victor.

      Don't think I haven't noticed the local nutcases also victimise some of their own when they feel like it. I take it you fell into this category, although your surname certainly doesn't sound as if you come from the Borders either. Lucky you !

      Now that we have wasted a few years of our lives here, we are selling our house, finally, after having to use some of those crooked lawyers in the Borders you speak about so much - you are quite right about that one too - we have ended up using several firms to sell our house, and some of the offers we had were so obviously on the low side (with our agents recommending we took them) they had to be from either themselves or as it turned out, a collection of dodgy builders who also happened to be clients of the same lawyers we used.

      You should write a book on your life here in the Borders, as an antidote to all the bollocks which is printed for the tourists. The Borders sucks, or something like that. Give the real life story of living here, not some glossed over fable to attract tourists.

      oh man i've been so busy- loads of wild all nighters giving it laldy on the dancefloor, been doing enough coke to kill a small heard of elephants and consumed so much vodka my last blood test came back sayin 99% alcohol!
