This sensational musical by Leonard Bernstein and Stephen Sondheim transforms Shakespeare's Romeo and Julier into a musical set against the backdrop of New York city gang warfare in the late 1950s.
Arguably one of the greatest musicals of all time, West Side Story is a mixture of vibrant dance, a fantastic score and classic songs such as Maria, America, I Feel Pretty and the haunting Somewhere.

Following their outstanding production of The King and I in May, Glasgow Light Opera Club is proud to present its Centenary Production of Fiddler on the Roof.
Set in Tzarist Russia, the story tells of Teyve, a milkman, devout Jew and father of five daughters, who shares a very special relationship with God and strives to maintain the traditional values of his faith and culture.
The wonderful score includes If I Were A Rich Man, Matchmaker, Matchmaker, Tradtion and Sunrise Sunset.

Following the success of our 'Pirates' workshop and 'Me and My Girl' workshop, LAMP are running another kids workshop for their forthcoming production of HELLO DOLLY.

Six day resident musical theatre course in Yorkshire, places are still available for men (ladies - waiting list only). Sign-up to immerse yourself in an experience that will extend your knowledge base of stage performance and musical theatre.
The material used will be the core songs from Les Miserables, to explore and create original ideas and expand and enhance your performance skills. Guest tutors will also deliver classes on TV Script/Reading/Auditions & Vocal Coaching.This will be an intensive, emotionally challenging but very rewarding and fun course with an emphasis on working as part of an ensemble.
There is accomodation provided onsite, with breakfast and evening meal provided also.

LAMP are holding a childrens workshop based on their dazzling new production of "Me and My Girl".
This will be held on Saturday 19th October, 1.30pm - 3pm in Linlithgow Academy Theatre.
The cost is £5 but this includes a ticket to watch the Monday evening performance of Me and My Girl (20th October) and a chance to meet some of the cast.
Participants will work with our Professional Director and Choreographer to learn and perform an all singing and all dancing excerpt from the production!
Tickets are also on sale for the Production which runs from 20th - 25th October at 7.30pm.
