About Me

Me, Myself, and I: Born in Bklyn, grew up in Baltimore, Hartsdale and Bayside/Flushing, N.Y. Moved to CA and then to AZ. Miss the Beach but have a pool).Working and being a mom to four kids, holding down demanding jobs was hard and left little time for art. I fit in rubber stamping which I could do any place, and, since my kids are grown, I have more time for art. I've learned to make paper, bind books, do Chinese Brush Painting,etc. One of my favorites is collage and altering books. I have set up a studio which is usually messy and I find myself working outside a lot. Outside I can make paper and do large backgrounds as well doing mosaics. I have created a river bed in my garden and have built a Faery garden around it. I painted a very large piece of artist canvas to resemble a flower garden and have placed it over my washer and dryer (they are outside). I have a great hubby who went on fantasy cruises with me and dressed in costumes, He enjoys my art and writes Haiku ( which I put in my gar

Music: Music from the 40's to the early 80's. I don't like Rap. I do like to dance.
Films: Musical: Singing In The Rain: Fantasy: Finding Neverland;
Mystery: All Agatha Christie and Sleuth; Romance: Sleepless in Seattle, I love Horror films and Science Fiction
Sports: University of Arizona Basketball (Wildcats)
Scared of: Scared of large crawling bugs. (They grow vey large here)
Happiest When: I am sharing ideas and working with others while learning new techniques
Working on: I am putting together a book about my anceators, somewhat like a scrapbook but it wiil contain my art and lots of journaling.
Art in my garden: I have made clay tiles depicting all my former and present cats. They will become stepping stones. I am also making concrete word tiles to add more Haiku to my garden.
