Hello!!!!
How we all doing?
Time for a little update!!!
If you haven't heard by now...WE WON LIVE AND UNSIGNED!!!
Exciting times ahead and we're all working hard on this!! We have a lovely new manager called Chris, he is going to get us some new and professional recordings, one of which will be released as a single this time next year!!!
We are going to be doing as many gigs as possible so keep checking the gig list as we'll be adding new dates across the country all the time!!
We are getting t-shirts made as well to boost the merch side of things, which will be sold through a brand new Detours website that is under development!
And in September we will be put forward for a Vodafone Music Award for the Best Unsigned Band, so we'll probably be on the tv again hopefully spouting out some cobbled together acceptance speech!
Oh and if you have seen a paper with our artile in it recently, it will mention something of a celebratory gig at King Tut's! well...thats not kind of happening as King Tut's is fully booked for the next couple of months and we want something NOW! So instead, we have a headlining gig at ABC2 on 13th August!!! Email us on wearethedetours@hotmail.co.uk if you want tickets!!!

The Detours were absolutely fucking brilliant last night!! Loved the new stuff especially the ballady one. It was a tune! Should have played for longer though! And no Superheroes! LOL.
