- omg - all this typing to tell about myself ? i'm a mother who is working her ass off to feed my tribe here - lol i love my job tho - took a year off from work , and i'm bored here ...... life is kinda slow at the moment , cause i like being busy ....... i have 8 children - 7 of them are girls (yes ! i've been blessed with a very fertile uterus- hahaha) i grew up in North Spirit Lake in a foster home - i love my family very much , they have taught me so much about life and values ..... they have accepted me as one of their own , i'm grateful ..... and i'm a bush person - i love the bushes ..... i'd like to consider myself as a very forward person - i like challenges ..... and like i always say "go with the flow" ..... hehehehehe

- Music
- music ? well - i love old classic rock - beatles, rolling stones and such - i love heavy rock - and anything else that is worth listening to - i'll listen to any music depends on what mood i'm in ...... and usually it's sappy - lol ........ "open arms" and "best of my love" lol ..........
- Films
- i'll say it again - my all time fave movie is "the good, the bad and the ugly" .........i watched it when i was a young girl and have been known to watch over and over - i love the actors and the music in there - it has it's sentimental values - for me anyways - lol
- Sports
- at the moment , i'm into softball - this is the first yr in a long time i've participated in it - i've been pregnant all this time - lol .......i love to watch hockey too ....... btw - did i mention i was hockey mom at one point ??? one of my daughters played .... she was defence ......
- Scared Of
- i HATE snakes .......... brrrrr scared ??? hmmmmmm right now i'm pretty content of my surroundings .......at this point? i'm not scared of anything ......but i guess i shouldn't say that , i am scared of one thing , and that is DEATH ...... but one of these days - we all have to meet our MAKER , i suppose.
- Happiest When
- i'm happiest when i spend a good ol quality time with my kids - when we are all laughing and having fun - and that is most of the time - i've come this far to seeing them grow up to be young adults .....

another weekend with my "hunny"
spent an awesome weekend with my hunny in Thunder Bay .....he came up to see me - can u imagine that ?? ME ! ..... i'm so happy that he came .... i didn't realise that i missed him - even tho we've limited our visits to every month now - i'm busy at work - and he's between jobs ...
the most exciting part of the visit is that he loves this area and is considering moving up this way ....... awesome ! this way , i know he's closer and i don't have to spend all that much to go see him in Toronto - hehehehe ......
i'd write more but at the moment , i'm pressed for time here .....i'll write more later on - i know , i keep saying that all the time , but literally - i AM pressed for time ..... lol0 Commentaren 588 dagen

March 20 - March 26 - my trip to Toronto
well -i'm back from Toronto - went there to spend time with my "hunny", Ryan - left Lac La Croix on the 20th and came back on the 26th. The visit was way too short for my liking, and it HAS been like 5 months till we finally got together again. But to make this trip memorable, we had fun - we went places. I treated him to the CN tower - can u believe that he's lived there all his life and this is the first time he's visited the Tower ?? omg .... i was ecstatic to learn that .. and he spent his first visit there with me ... oh - gotta mention that i REFUSED to go on the GLASS FLOOR - hehehe .... anyways , we had fun .
The days were too short and fast , we spent quality time with each other as much as possible - he did all the talking and i jus sat there watching him - listening .... i love those moments ... hehehe ...i jus wished that he took the time to take out his guitars and play music for me tho - i miss that.
there are jus times that we need to be together , and this week was one of them ... i love the fact that he enjoyed the visit, this means so much to me. anyways - if i have more to tell - i can jus write it in my next blog , but all i can say is - i miss him.0 Commentaren 614 dagen

Dear Diary,
It's been awhile since i've written something in here .....
This week jus wasn't the week for me at all - I've had people punch my vehicle window while i'm driving, people yell at me while i'm in public places........and mind you , this all happened , day to day ..... from monday to friday ....... but you know what ? This is all part of my job as a public worker and as a parent, they have no idea that this isn't gonna make me any weaker..... they've jus proven to me that I am a Human Being after all , and I can right the wrong. I'm the sort of person that will laugh the inevitable and carry on ..... hey, i don't hold grudges.
But for every wrong , there is a good ...... and I've had good things happen to me too this week ! I renewed my driver's license, i bought myself a ticket to go to Toronto on the long weekend (whoo hooo) and my baby is healing real fine - no worries ! i'm so happy .....also i'm going to be spending time with a couple of elders next week ..... i'm escorting them to the Thunder Bay's Elder Conference - whoooo hoooo - looking forward to seeing alot of elders gather in one area. anyways, this is my blog for the time being - i'm sure i'll think of something else while i'm sittin here - playing Texas Hold'em (online) hehehehehe....0 Commentaren 634 dagen
