2009 TSUNAMI APPEAL!

I'm looking for entertainers/performers to volunteer and support a fundraiser concert this coming Saturday 10 October starting at approximately 1pm at the Ericcson Stadium, Penrose, Auckland.
If you are keen to be a part of the entertainment programme to support the Tsunami 2009 Relief Appeal please email through all your details to Petrina George at pgeorge@apra.com.au or contact Petrina on (027) 2451898 ASAP so we can get the ball rolling.
This event is being spearheaded by Rueben Wiki, Mark Goshe & NZ Rugby League. The concert is being co-ordinated by the Pacific Music Awards Trust.

Why are nice guys never enough? I spoke to a friend of mine, Vilami, We've been friends for a few years he's been a huge mental stepping stone in my life he guided me in what was right. And understood my mistakes, He was my therapist at times, My psychiatrist at others. One night i was explaining how i'd met this guy and we'd started dating. He got mad - So mad he ignored me for a long time, He didn't understand why i would date the so called newbies in my life yet i wouldnt date him. A year ago me and him went for a drive to mission bay in the middle of the night and we had this sorta moment. Ever since then, it changed our relationship. To be honest he just was not my type, but he was everything i would have needed. Yet i stayed in a unhealthy relationship with a man, we will just call deny. Hes was the complete opposite of Viliami. He did drugs, he had kids, he he was a convict everything i didnt need. And yet year after year went running back to him. Viliami on the other hand, as many times as i shut him down he still stayed around, untill he snapped.
I spent alot of time contemplating his frustrations, making excuses and validating my own opinions. Then i realised, He was right. Thinking back on my friends i had, and the ex things i had been with, My friends were always the nice guys. The boyfriends were always the bad guys, It was shocking to see the pattern. I don't know why i'm attracted to bad guys who treat me how they shouldn't, Talk down to me like i'm nothing of importance and purely disrespect me. And yet the people i ran to where the sweetest, genuine, most thoughtful people that exsisted in my little world. Alot of girls are like this, Apparently we attract that kinda guy. We dont go out looking for bad asses rather we look past the decent guys. Ask yourself, If you had a genuine sweet heart who was a bit on the scruffy side - And a little thug nigga down for whatever who would you see? The thug, You'd look straight through the potential husband material, For that guy who will leave you wishing things were different. Then who's gonna catch you'r fall? The nice guy!
In a sense the saying is right, Nice guys do finish last. I'm glad i kinda realised it.
