- This group is for all the holden fans and for Tasman motorsport!!!! Most recently named Sprint Gas Racing .Tasman is the most successful New Zealand team of the V8supercar Championship!!!
It was formed in 2004 out of what was Langsvale Racing team.Tasman motorsport also entered the series in 2004,with a VX Commodore driven by Jason Richards..
2007 has seen the debut of the VE Commodore in the V8 Supercars and is seeing even more improvement for the team with its' two Kiwi drivers Jason Richards#3 and Greg Murphy#51.Also N.Z V8 Tasman Motorsport driver Andy Booth#23 a two time champion,and now heads Tasman Motorsports New Zealand operation.
2009 sees Jason Bargwanna join ranks of SGR and also Mark Skaife jumps on board car 51 to form the pairing of the decade with Greg Murphy for the enduros. Look out for SGR at Bathurst.

hes rumoured 2 go to BJR....personally i think he should go 2 supercheap coz they are consistently racing at the front steve owen or dale wood are rumoured 2 take jasons spot but well hav 2 wait and see what happens grrr wish we could still keep him and have the kiwi duo

hmmm sprint gas have "released" jasons contract.... not sure if hes been let go or hes been allowed to explore his options if he does leave SGR hopefully he goes to HRT or HSV dealer team
but it would be a shame to see him go
