- In a world were bullies dont just rule the scool they also rule the game of pitch and putt. This book is about a boy called Jack. He is very smart and athletic teenager. Jack tries to earn money for his summer holidays . Jack plans on having the best summer with his girlfriend and best friends He takes up a sport, pitch and putt, in which he finds no interest in, even though it is obvious, he is extremely talented. Unfortunately he has to avoid getting into trouble, keep his dad happy, spend sometime with his girlfriend and practice his golf techniques. Unfortunately problems occur. He learns that a boy called Mark will also be entering into the tournament. Despite the fact Mark is big, strong and aggressive, Jack is more interested in how good he is at pitch and putt. It becomes clear that Mark is also brilliant at the sport. Jack begins to like the game and eventually gets better just in time for the ‘Forest lake pitch and putt competition.’ Jack is determined to win.
