- Where to start.... I live alone, well with my two pet rats (Ben & Jerry). I've been married, however it didn't work out & am now divorced. I trained as an occupational therapist and worked in social work for 6 years. I hated the stress of the job, although the money was very nice. I went through a bit of a tough time, however I'm starting to love life again. I have a nice wee flat, my rats and a new job. I took a huge drop in wages but am much happier. I now work in a respite service for adults with a learning disability. I get to take them out shopping, for meals, to the flicks etc., whatever they want to do. It's great, I love my job!!! I'm trained in reiki, crystal healing and reflexology, all of which I love. I'm starting to socialise more, and have just got hooked up to the internet again. Looking forward to chatting to lots of interesting new people!!!

- Placebo, Muse, Marilyn Manson, Green Day, Gary Numan, Pearl Jam, Rammstein, The Killers and lots more. Have quite an eclectic taste in music. I play double bass and piano, rather badly!!
- Films
- The Shining, One Flew over the Cuckoos Nest, Pride & Prejudice (Colin Firth one!!), Usual Suspects, American Beauty, Rocky Horror Picture Show, Kevin Smith films, 28 days later.... oh and anything with vampires & gore!
- Sports
- Is bellydancing considered a sport???? Don't really do the sport thing, although my ever increasing waist is forcing me to consider joining a gym, yuck!! Does sex count??
- Scared Of
- Exercise!!!! Literally brings me out in a sweat!
- Happiest When
- Love sleeping and eating!!! Not at the same time obviously. Enjoy reading, going to the cinema, going out for meals and meeting up with friends for a good drink. Oh and having my feet or back rubbed.

Gym
I joined the local gym just over a week ago, and amazingly I am actually enjoying it!!! It's a really nice gym with excellent facilities, which makes a difference. I will keep my blog posted with the weight loss. Only lost a pound the first week, but I did slip up and have a black pudding supper at work, d'oh!!!! Well everyone was getting the chippy and I couldn't sit and smell chips without giving in, could I???

Gran's funeral
Well the funeral was yesterday, lots of tears, but it was a beautiful service and Gran would have been pleased with it I think. The minister got my Dad's name wrong all the way thru the service, but my Gran would have been absolutely wetting herself about that, they didn't get on that well!!!! I'm glad it's over, can concentrate on getting on with things now. Next challenge is to clear and sell her house, really dreading that. xxx1 commento 908 giorni

Losing hours of my life
I'm loving being hooked up to the internet and being able to chat to new people and old friends on bebo. Only problem is that I am losing hours of my life. I'll be chatting away quite happily and suddenly realise that the sun is up outside and the birds are singing. It's great, but I'm shattered. Long may it continue

Yeah...i find it easier to help others than myself...cos a lot o folk say 2me "so how cum u dont just heal yourself..u do reiki an hav all thz knowledge abt crystals an such..."..if only i could step out of my body..distance myself from the 24/7 pain an do the biz!!!!
Funny u should mention lithium cos i wz thinkn abt tht 2day..dunno wot it looks lyk?...so next stop google search...

hi..found u when i searched "crystal healing"..i just luv crystals an i take bouts of finding out all about their various healing energies. Wot hav u found is good for allievating depression?..im working wth dioptase just now an find itz helping..but wud luv ur input...

I am workin with a Pearl Jam Tribute band at the mo an the Launch Night of Merkin Music is a week on saturday at the Lemon Tree in Aberdeen.
Pearl Jammin are on last but i think you will like the other bands too...Gerry is a wizard on the guitar!
