Of both English and Nigerian descent, 43 was raised as an only child in South London. At age 14, 43 started DJing in his spare time and by age 15, 43 had progressed to producing music. In this short space of time, 43 quickly developed this pastime into a passion and later turned it into his career.

Despite being labelled an underachiever academically, musically he excelled. He soon formed a group Fully Equipt and worked with other producers, singers and rappers to produce tracks from scratch. As the group slowly drifted in different directions, 43 pursued his career as a solo artist. He set up his own studio and began to establish himself as rapper. He continues to write and produce his own material, drawing his inspiration from internationally renowned artists such as Michael Jackson, Jay-z, and Mary J. Blige, among others, as well sixties and seventies soul.

43 prides himself on being an active independent artist. He has built a dedicated management team, ranging from marketers to promoters, who work closely with him to take his career to the next level.

43 has established himself on UK underground scene and has already sold out of his first two mixtapes. He has performed in prestigious venues including London’s Café de Paris and has developed a dedicated fan base throughout the UK.
