- HeHatesUs,
Four very different backgrounds, four very different styles. One goal. Bringing the best of Heavy Metal back to live shows.
HeHatesUs formed in April 2007 when Atron, Rossco, Scary and Bryce combined influences from Nu-Metal, Grunge, 80's rock and traditional heavy metal to create HeHatesUs.
While they can be mostly be found playing to packed audiences in Glasgow at such venues as Ivory Blacks, The Cat House, Tiger Tiger, Rockers, The Vale, The Barrowlands and the Soundhaus. HeHatesUs have been known to wow audiences all over the country with venues ranging from Ayr, Dundee, Perth and Kilmarnock to name a few.
The band have a proven Support pedigree as well, opening for band such as Bleed for Within, Corrupt Absolute, The Anti-Nowhere League, 101% Pantera and and Gunslinger
At the end of recording the third album, Scary decided that he wanted to take a break from the intensive band experience and has left the band (Hopefully to return in the future when he can!).

Band Latest
Well the band received fantastic news last week!!!
Bryce has managed to find a job closer to home and the regular rehearsals will be starting again soon!!! This puts the band back on steady ground and we can start looking for our new bass player!
The band will be releasing the new album very soon and will be available to purchase at the next gig (TBA), however if you are the impatient type and want it sooner than that, you can ask one of the band members for an advanced copy!
The band will be promoting the new album at a venue near you (if you live in the Glasgow area) very soon and we will of course be working on some new material to wet your audio appetite!!!

New Album!!!
Alright All!
Well as we told you in our previous blog we were writing some new songs! Well we've been working hard over the summer and our yet untitled third album is all but complete. Just waiting to receive the final mixes of the tracks. We've got 5 new HeHatesUs tracks to feast your ears upon and a NEW cover song as well!.... No it's not Fat Bottomed Girls!!!
We've taken a new direction with this album and it has been met with some controversy and scepticism, but we hope the album will broaden our musical genre as well as keeping the essence of our Rock and Metal backgrounds.
Unfortunately the band is going through a transitional period at this present time, as our drummer Bryce is moving to Aberdeen and the sudden departure of our bass player Scary, who we all thank for his contributions to the band and we wish him all the best for the future!
Due to these circumstances, the band will not be performing in the near future, but we hope to resurrect the project soon and start gigging again!.... We'll keep you posted!!! The new album will therefore be distributed only by request from the remaining members! (Andy, Bryce or Rossco)
TO END ON A POSITIVE NOTE!!!! We will be putting the new tracks up on the website for you to have a listen to!!! And of course to comment on! Tell us what you think!!!
Thanks for all your support and we hope to see you all at the next gig...... COMING SOON!!!

May Update
It’s that time again, there are summer gigs coming up and we hope that some of you can come, but first the news
Some of you may have heard that Bryce (The Tub Thumper) has a new job and may have to head up to Aberdeen for the new term starting in August, so that makes the next couple of gigs really special for us and we would love to see you there to give us a good send off.
We have some new songs that we have been working hard on, a new direction for a couple of them which we think everyone will like. Hopefully we will get these ironed out and get a new album recorded over the summer. We have started playing them live and are getting a good reaction so far......
Listen out for “Circles” and “HeHatesUs” at the next gig. Which will be Saturday the 23rd May so only a week or so away. Its at Ivory Blacks again and we will be supporting “Gunslinger” who feature among their ranks one of the original members of Hawkwind so that should be pretty special. Tickets are £7.50 and are available from the band or on the night. Just let us know in advance if you are coming and we will get tickets set aside for you. As usual the more tickets we sell the higher up the bill we go and we want to make a good night of it.....
The next gig after that will be a return to The Vale, a great wee venue where we had a good gig at the start of the year. This time we will be playing with some great bands that we actually know “Griever” and “Lets Play God”, a third band “Thrash” will also be there to entertain you.... sounds like a good night to me, keep 31st July free in your calendars for that one.
Thats about all the news for this one, hope youa re all well and that we will see you soon
