Wow - so much time has passed since I last visited here!

I hope everyone is well and enjoying the start of summer. I've been real busy and so there is never enough time to do everything I'd like to do - but I do think of my friends all the time and hope they are well, happy and in love!

So far, our summer has gotten off to a good start - we've had a couple of real hot days, which I like - but not every single day - lol - and after our long winters, summer is for me, a time to truly enjoy the outdoors as much as possible.

I have a new fur baby - his name is Chico, he was born March 8th, and while he only weighs 5 lbs - he has the courage of a lion. Can you guess what kind of dog he is? "grins"

We also have our two Pomeranians, Tommy, who turned 2 in April and Nicky, who will be a year old the end of August. They are sweet and wonderful dogs and we love them dearly. They all get a long great together, playing and squabbling, just like little kids do. However, while Chico is small, he won't take any baloney from either of them.

He sleeps with me every night and he's so cuddly and loving. I lost my little Frankie last year, in the early fall, and while Chico can't replace him, I missed him so much, because he was my constant companion. He died of cancer. He wasn't even 3 yet. There was such a big empty hole in my heart, and to make matters even worse, our Beagle, Buddy, passed on not too long afterwards. He lived a good long life - but he left a big empty space in our lives too.

We got Nicky at 8 weeks, but he instantly bonded with Tommy and my husband. That has never happened to be before - usually the dogs are all over me - so at times, I even felt jealous and even more lonely. But now I have my Chico and he's my constant companion and so he has filled that empty space. They are really good dogs though. We can take them everywhere - both Tommy and Nicky are therapy dogs and Chico is in training and he is very well behaved already.

I've been very busy, working on my website and always responding to mail - and trying when I can, to find some time to create some digital art. That's my passion.
