One of the first purpose-built all-seated football stadiums in the United Kingdom, McDiarmid Park was at the forefront of a new way of thinking – designed to provide not just excellent viewing, catering and ancillary facilities for football spectators but a range of rooms and suites which could be used seven days a week by businesses and the public alike for meetings, conferences and private celebrations.

- The restaurant at McDiarmid Park is open weekdays 12-2pm for delicious two & three course lunches, the menu changes daily and a host of our regular customers will vouch for the quality food and excellent service.

- Our party package includes 1 hour playing football on our synthetic pitch, a stadium tour, a birthday tea, and a football signed by the St Johnstone players!

- HISTORY
- In 1986, the opportunity arose for St Johnstone Football Club to leave their Muirton Park ground – home for the previous 62 years – and move to a new stadium adjacent to the A9 bypass.
In August 1989 a St Johnstone side took to the field at McDiarmid Park for the first time and the 10, 740 stadium remains home to the club today.

FANFEST - SUNDAY 26TH JULY 2009
The Club will also be hosting a Fanfest, celebrating 125 years of St Johnstone FC and also 20 years of playing at McDiarmid Park.
This family event will take place on the all-weather pitch adjacent to the stadium on Sunday 26th July between 4pm and 8pm and among the attractions are the appearance of fans’ favourites from the past 20 years, an ‘Abba The Concert’ tribute band, the Radio Tay Roadshow, funfair, food and drink outlets and also the chance to purchase replica kit for the new season from Surridge Sports.
This is sure to be a great afternoon and all profits from the event will go Radio Tay’s Cash for Kids charity.
Tickets for the event will be priced at £10.00 for adults and £5.00 for under 16s and we’re delighted to announce that anyone buying a Season Ticket for next season will receive a ticket for the event with the compliments of the club.
Keep an eye on the football club website for details of when tickets for the Funfest will go on sale and also for details of how YOU can vote for the players from the past 20 years who will be invited to the event.

10 February 2009- ST JOHNSTONE FC SPORTSMAN'S DINNER
St Johnstone Football Club will be hosting our Annual Sportsman’s Dinner at the Lovat Hotel in Perth on Friday 13th March 2009.
We are delighted to announce that the event is being sponsored by Symphony Hotels & Leisure Ltd.
Whilst raising funds towards the Club’s Youth Development Initiative, the Sportsman’s Dinner will have guest speakers George McNeil and John Htet-Khin on hand to entertain guests on the night. Both George and John are highly regarded figures on the speaker’s circuit in Scotland and are expected to provide a great night of entertainment.
The Sportsman’s Dinner is a ticket-only event, and includes a three course dinner prior to the entertainment.
