...just fancied starting with a good quote...might of posted this already but work is slowly removing all faculties of thought from my tiny brain...day two is 23KM...but is on the flat...divide that by 1.6 to get miles...nearly 15 miles...so we'll start at first light on Sunday!...if folks could let me know when they're gonna arrive and when they need to leave that'd be grand...i'm going to go and enjoy the warm fuzzy feeling of eating cookie dough ice cream and listening to tunng's new album...0 comentarios 850 días

its all in the timing
day one of the trip is 12500m so 13km to be safe...this will take approx 6hrs to walk...so we'll leave 7 to be safe...all those getting buses to Aviemore on the Saturday wont arrive till quarter to one, this means we'll get to Achlean about 1330 - 1400...the pace on day one will be a bit rapid but we should make camp between 1900 and 2100 hours...which will give us between 2 and 1/2 and hour to pitch tents until it gets dark...plenty of time!...we do have a 1km leeway either side of the 12500 km because we're pitching by the side of the path as long as we have made the river and are off the plateau and summits we'll be dandy chucking down wherever we are!!!...see you in a week and a bit,

A postgrad? Hm, not ruling it out - still remains a possibility - but not sure! I think it would end up dominating my life, and as much as I like the subject, I'm not sure if I want that! What about you - tempted to go back for more yet? -

Hey Lewis! Long time no see! How are things going? What have you been up to since uni?
I've found a job with Collins, writing dictionary definitions, which is fun. Unfortunately, it's not permanent, so I'm going to be back at square one again in a few months ... oh well! It's good for now, anyway. -
