- Ich über mich
- I'm an unsigned, London based, singer-songwriter. I grew up listening to an eclectic mix of eastern and western music, from Bhangra beats to Delta Blues. I fell in love with Otis Redding's voice & Stax records at the age of fourteen. At fifteen, John Lee Hooker started me into my journey through the blues. The British blues invasion in the 60's was a big influence on me, especially for the fact that those bands got the world to recognize the genius of the likes of Muddy Waters and Howlin' wolf, amongst others. On the eastern side, I've grown up hearing great singers such as Jagjit Singh, Alam Lohar, Nusrat Fateh Ali Kahn & Gurda Maan.I've always loved singing and always felt connected to something special when I sing, it's a feeling you can't really get from anywhere else. Singing and playing rhythm guitar has led me into songwriting. For me, songs are expression, the thoughts and feelings of someone experiencing life.

howya dylan? I found you when i was flicking through a search of Howlin' wolf fans, got pretty excited when i read bhangra and delta blues, i have to admit that your songs aren't to my taste but a think for the male singer/songwriter genre you're playing they're pretty damn decent tunes. I was wondering if you had any other tunes that are more heavyly (spell check please) influenced by the delta and if you do would you stick one one your page here.
Pleased to make you aquaintence (spell check again please) by the way
