- Miami, Florida brothers Carl Almasy on vocals and Rich Coccaro on guitar formed Nothing Rhymes With Orange in 2003. Drawing on childhood influences from The Smiths to U2 and Oasis, NRWO discovered a knack for songwriting, resulting in an Alt/Indie sound that bridges a gap between their American and British contemporaries. After a successful run on the American College Radio charts and hundreds of shows including support gigs for the likes of Louis XIV and The Bravery to John Mayer and OneRepublic among many others, the group now brings their latest single, Kill the Vibe, from their full length CD, Hello Mysterious out March 10.

PAOLO NUTINI HAUNTS NOTHING RHYMES WITH ORANGE
THE sunken eyes, chalk-white pallor and spooky hairdo are dead giveaways - it's Billy Sloan.
And the slightly less scary one on the left is singer Paolo Nutini in full Beetlejuice costume.
On Halloween, Paisley-born Paolo dropped in to Glasgow venue The Box dressed as the character from Tim Burton's movie.
His disguise was so good no one recognised him until he leapt on stage to dance with a stunned Carl Coccaro, singer with US band Nothing Rhymes With Orange.

NRWO UK TOUR begins Oct 24
Nothing Rhymes With Orange embarks on its promotional tour of the UK to promote their new single, Kill the Vibe. The 1 American College Radio track is available exclusively for mobile phone download. Please check the group's myspace or official website for details.
NRWO's UK tour will kick off in England at Liverpool's own Cavern Club on Friday, Oct 24. Scotland is next on the map including a stop at Glasgow's Clyde 1 Radio with Billy Sloan where the group will perform some songs from their Hello Mysterious CD as well as some unrecorded material. A string of Scotland and England dates will follow ending in London at the Hope and Anchor in Islington on Thursday, Nov 6.
