About Me

Tagline
It's not just a club......It's a family ;-)
Me, Myself, and I
Silicone Soul are the internationally renowned and much-loved DJ & production duo Craig Morrison and Graeme Reedie. Pioneering quality underground house and techno for the past decade they have proven to be one of the most enduring acts on their home label, Soma Records. They are synonymous with dancefloor destruction and guest constantly around the globe. They have held residencies at La Terrrazza (Barcelona), Circo Loco (DC10, Ibiza), The Arches and The Sub Club (Glasgow) and now the famous Café d’Anvers (Antwerp). Equally so the duo are renowned for their production skills, with an idiosyncratic take on the house/techno sound that continues to evolve …deep, broodingly emotive electronic music. The guys are now back in the studio working on their fourth album. This will be a landmark year for Silicone Soul as it also marks their tenth anniversary, so expect some fresh surprises in the year to come…

Support comes from JOHNNY WHOOP (Death Disco) plus Koochie Residents

  • More Info About Boy 8 Bit

Boy 8-Bit, AKA David Morris, made his first steps onto the dance scene when DJ Touché included his track 'The Colonel' in his BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix in 2004. He was then offered the chance to remix Touché's seminal track 'The Paddle' for Southern Fried Records, along with other high profile tracks such as Dave Clarke and Arthur Baker's 'This Feelin' - which was supported by Radio 1's Essential Selection and Armand Van Heldens 'When The Lights go Down' which received plays from Radio 1's Annie Mac.

In 2004 he also released his first single for Touché's new Body Clap label. The track was his ode to the Commodore 64 of his childhood 'Turbo Loader' and this was followed in 2005 by his melodic bassline roller 'Long Jeanne Silver' which was described by IDJ magazine as an "Awesome Electronic Masterpiece" and given top marks with five stars out of five.

The Boy was also a resident at the Body Clap night was also held at London's ultra trendy T-Bar. It ran for over two years and became the club's longest running night. The night has now moved onto Fabric one of Londons largest and most popular venues.

He has also played guitar for the band The Black Ghosts - AKA Simon 'We are your Friends' Lord from Simian and Theo Keating AKA DJ Touché from the Wiseguys. His time in the band included a performance at 2007's Glastonbury festival.

Up to date the Boy has almost 30 official remixes to his name. Recent remixes including Chromeo's 'Needy Girl', Midfield General, Lethal Bizzle, Mika, Hybrid's 'Higher than a Skyscraper' and The Black Ghosts' 'Any Way You Choose to Give It' have received support from DJ's such as Radio 1's Annie Mac and Kissy Sell Out and Kiss FM's Sinden and the Loose Cannons.

The next couple of months will see new releases for the Boy on Diplo's 'Mad Decent' label, a track called 'The Suspense is Killing Me' which will be backed by two other original tracks and a remix by Drop the Lime.

He also has a release on New York label 'Touble and Bass'. The track 'Fogbank' will come with remixes from Jack Beats - who comprise of Plus One from the Scratch Perverts and Beni from the Mixologists and Australian Duo Acid Jacks. Check out the MySpace for upfront listening.

Jeff the aardvark, and bruce the pavement had a fight, bruce got so angry he had sex with a pond. For his efforts of impossible love making steve the fridge named his plane after him and subsequently flew him to the isle of gluten-free at easter with 6 free range eggs (hard boiled, 1 poached) so he could live out the life of a pavement in full. For years bruce lay making daisy chains while trying to solve Iran's defence problems, until one day marjory the random sloth minced onto the scene and changed his life forever. They married immediately, the time being exactly half past gluten free as sponsored by the gluten free sun dial, but alas on the wedding night as they.........you know - he crushed her to death. He was a broken slab. He drowned his sorrow by finding the nearest cafe and having 5 rolls and egg before stealing a bike and cycling off in to the sunset leaving the isle of gluten free forever. Bruce was never seen again. Moral of the story - bruce forgot he was a pavement.
