the 1st deck was the "rainbow" deck, made of 7 crystal beasts, with spells and traps to support it. in a episode we see [normal] Johan have counter gem in his hand, but never uses it. to obtain the final piece to his rainbow deck, he duels Ryo Marufuji/Hell Kaiser [Zane Truesdale]. he then duels Martin/Marcel with Juudai, summoning Rainbow Dragon, but we see a couple "ace cards" or "trump cards" in his deck, ruby carbuncle of course, and gem tree and GEM burst are seen as his cards that got him out of all sorts of troubles. even Maximilion Pegasus isn't confident of what the crystal beasts are capable of. but enough talk, here's his deck list, before possesed by Yubel.

the only reason i advise NOT to make a Yubel Johan deck, is they're all pretty much super and ultra rares, only rainbow whereabouts is a common.
Yubel Johan is a tricky one, he's seen playing three different decks, but they were really 2 styles put together [believe it or not], sort of like Manjyome Thunder's ojama/union/armed dragon/cthonian, but for Johan it's hell/sacred beasts and the "rainbow's shadow". Johan's "ace" or "trump" card is rainbow dark dragon, and advanced dark. Johan becomes possesed by a confused, troubled spirit. the Advanced crystal beasts represent the dark side of Johan. and the hell/phantom deck is just a deck. Yubel Johan beats Ryo and Amon, but later loses to Juudai. his deck list is below.
