I love twilight, near the end of a day...getting into a pair of cozy pajamas and deciding what book to read!

I love when I am surrounded by my books. Going to Barnes and Noble with my son and husband is one of our favorite things to do as family...then go out to dinner!

I love the sound of waterfalls, the twinkle of candles, fireplaces, walking near the water, thinking about what I'm going to write next...

I love putting on a good movie with my family and eating supper in front of the TV. If my pets are curled up with us, it's perfect.

  • I'm on vacation...

    I'm on a week's vacation. I'm staying home and will split my time between writing and getting my son ready for school. Wow, this summer went fast!

    Joined the beau monde this week, which was exciting. Just waiting for my confirmation to come through. Working on a few proposals and queries that will go out later this week. And of course there is always the critiquing...and need to get to my blog and add another Queen entry. It's been a very busy August here for me...recently got a promotion and I've been swamped with work at home.

    ...and having lots of fun on My Space, Bebo and Shelfari...

  • Speaking of Blogs

    I've been working on a blog for well over a year--it's a blog about Queens. One of these days I'll get the courage to put the web address out there for all to see---well, who ever might like to look.
    My latest piece of work is on the woman who was almost Queen---Wallis Warfield Simpson. Instead, the King who loved her abdicated in 1935, and left his Kingdom so that he could be with her. She was a divorced American, and much of Britian wouldn't have it...Wallis as Queen. Had Edward stayed on the throne...would things have changed? Perhaps. We'll never know now.

    This is my first day on Bebo...I have alot to do and alot of friends to add. Hmmm...Should I link to my blog? My writing? My favorite royalty sites? I'll think about that later, I suppose!
