Well I personally had a fantastic 2005 especially towards the end. Started a new job in April at an architectural firm doing Graphic Design, loved it!. Great location and awesome people, have spent alot of the year hanging out with people from work doing a great range of things from dinners and movie nights to partying til the wee hours of the morning.
Havent done much to the house except entertain in it - too busy going out on the weekends!
We have a baby in the house now too, his name is Samson and he is a Bernese Mountain Dog. We got him in April and he is adorable - except when he is chewing on my new shoes!!! He has grown enormous in the last 9 months and we love him to bits!
Went to San fran for a visit again this year for three weeks in Sept - Oct. Great fun as usual, not enough time as usual.
Deans business is doing great and he has started another venture with some partners in Sri Lanka and is looking to invest in a warehouse instead of renting.
We had a great holiday season and had the chance to take a trip to Phuket, Bangkok, Sri Lanka & Vietnam. We left Christmas night and it was awesome. We absolutely loved Phuket and Dean worked in Sri lanka and looked into prospects in Vietnam - I shopped if you can believe that!! So Cheap!
I have returned with a love of Thai food and Dean is not complaining.
In short had a great year and to top it off I lost 13 kilos! (28.6lbs) going to the naturopath and gym with my neighbour!

Well 2004 flew by! we spent most of it fixing up our house and settling in.
We painted some feature walls, paved an entertaining area in the backyard as well as the driveway and landscaped the backyard. We also bought some new furniture and the house is almost done. Just need to re-do our bedroom closet and save for new windows. We went to the states in june for a visit and crammed in Cooks graduation, fish's 21st and Irma & Morgans wedding.
We have spent most of the year getting our business going and have made a nice name for ourselves in the IT industry along with some first year profits which we are happy with - being a new small business.
We had my dad over in November and enjoyed that alot, especially getting some great recipes off him and my emerils essence which I can't cook without now. Then next thing it was my birthday and we rushed to get the whole yard finished for that. We had a big party and then a work break up at our house the following week, followed by christmas lunch too. So Our garden was put to good use. We had two days rest then the Johnson seniors arrived and we brought in the New Year with them and took a nice road trip, playing liars dice, cards, golf and shopping along the way.
Highlights: Enjoying our house, seeing our parents, business growing, U.S. visit, catching up with friends, hot air ballooning for our anniversary.
