One of the UK's most extreme bands, showing up the current fashion for
so-called Metal, pseudo-Punk and Industrial bands for what it is: the
soundtrack for angst-ridden teenagers to consume briefly en route to
being good citizens.
Pounding metallic tribal rhythms, chainsaw
guitars, and guttural vocals that can barely contain the laser-guided
rage at the world behind it, combined with a sampladelic cut-up ethic
that Bill Burroughs himself would approve of.
The bastard heirs of both
Throbbing Gristle and The Clash with no concession to commerciality.
The urban post-apocalypse - the soundtrack to Mad Max set in a Brixton

Music so filthy you need to wear a condom while listening or else you'll get an STD - FACT!
Drugzilla spawned from the bogs of Lisdoonvarna in 2007, and the duo
quickly built up one of the largest fanbase for extreme electronic acts
on the internet.
Bringing a strange mix of Buckfast fuelled extreme
beats and foul mouth merriment with them, they recently played a
stomping set at I Hate Trance in the UK alongside some of the best acts
in the European Speedcore scene.
To top things, Drugzilla have just
been named Clare artist of 2008 in the Clare People Newspaper, which is
an unheard of achievement for such an extreme band.
The debut album
"Alcoholocaust will see the light of day in 2009 and splits with
Hatewire and Eustachian are also in the pipeline

HATEWIRE
High speed in excess of 400 bpm, excessively hard speedcore,
grindcore-like brutality and general darkness form the basis of
HateWire's hellishly abusive noise.
Initially HateWire was a product of
the Sadistician project but now has become it's own thing entirely.
Primary influences include Gabber Front Berlin, Maruosa, Prosthetic
Cunt, Deathstorm, Wolf Eyes, DJ Producer and Mayhem.
Screwed-up
samples, hard violent distorted kick samples, abrasive noise and
vomit-esque screaming make up the final sound which in combination with
the extreme tempo makes for an intensely grinding live rave experience!
As well as playing live at Ik ben je bitch niet on new year's eve 2008
at Culemborg in Holland HateWire also plays live sets regularly at the
Nottingham-based speedcore night Rigormortis.
HateWire can also be
found on Rigormortis Records, Splatterkore Reck-ords and The
Centrifuge.

Jungle juice is the name given to a mix of liquor that is usually served for group consumption.
Most jungle juice mixtures contain huge quantities of hard alcohol mixed with arbitrary juices. In different areas Jungle Juice is also called a "wop". It is often an inexpensive means of getting many people intoxicated at parties. Everyone brings something to contribute to the festivities. In general the wop guidelines for ingredients include anything fruit based. Any fruit juice or soda is an acceptable addition to the mix. Fruit-based and neutral alcohols are good, such as vodka, rum, fruit-flavored schnapps, and wine. Brown alcohols, especially whiskey, make the wop unpalatable. Beer is strictly forbidden as it creates an unpleasant flavor. Special attention must be paid to consuming any fresh fruits that have been added to the wop, as fruit absorbs alcohol, which can cause drinks to become deceptively strong.

Some friends helped me out with my money situation. Luckily, I had enough for the trian.
Unfortunately, I missed my flight back to Dublin. The buses didn't leave until 06:00, and my flight was at 06:35. I was stuck in the airport for over 36 hours. I had to rebook my flight home. I waited until boarding time, but then the flight got delayed 3 hours.
When I arrived at Dublin airport, I got a bus directly from there to Shannon. I slept on the chairs at the airport. Not very comfortable! The following morning, I got a bus from there to Ennis, so basically I didn't make it home until Wednesday morning. -
