Lord Provost to Switch on Woodside Community Council Christmas Lights!

Glasgow's Lord Provost, Bob Winters, will be switching on Woodside Christmas Lights this year.

Also in attendance will be Cllr George Roberts, Cllr Martha Wardrop, Police Chief Inspector Stuart Ferguson, Police Inspector Jim Haddows as well as local schools & nurseries.

All welcome to attend the event which will take place at St George's Cross on Tuesday 1 December starting at 4pm.

ORDER OF EVENT

4.00pm Schools arrive at Woodside Library

4.15pm Procession to St. George's Cross

4.20pm Speech - Councillor George Roberts

4.25pm Carols Performed by Schools

Woodside Nursery School "We Wish You A Merry Christmas" and "Jingle Bells"

Oakgrove Primary School "Midnight" and "See Him Lying On A Bed of Straw"

St. Joseph's Primary School "Winter Wonderland" and "Silent Night"

4.55pm Speech - Alan Lee

5.00pm Countdown / Switch On By The Lord Provost
