As you all know, most stars have had an agent since the age of three, lessons in singing, dancing and anything else that catches their eye, and enough money to “assist” with the decision of the casting director, studio manager or senior executive. Unfortunately, this is not available to most of us so I have written this list of helpful tips to carry you up the red carpet to the stretch Hummer that is showbiz.

1.Appear on a hit kids TV show (This will give the exposés some “cute” clips to show when you are at the height of your fame).
2.Release a single or appear in a movie/TV. programme in your teenage years (voice of an angel anyone?).
3.Marry/ shack up with another cute teenage star who shares your belief in “the silver ring thing”
4.Break up with no.3.(4 months for marriage, 1-2 years for “a relationship”)
5.Have a series of “unconfirmed” flings with co-stars/ popstars.
6.Have some form of plastic surgery (facial, bodywork, Botox…why not all of the above?)
7.Big scandal time! Be it a kiss and tell story in the papers, or a sighting of you leaving a party with “icing sugar” all over your clothes, it will still bring you to no.8
8.Release a statement denying all claims of no.7 and saying you just need some time out of the public eye. (why not deny no.6 while you’re at it!)
9.Have a kid/get married/get divorced. This will get the public on your side
