    • Up Coming Events

      Here are some events that you might be interested in:

      Fern's Diocesan Youth Festival
      Takes place on the evening of Saturday, the 29th of August, in Our Lady's Island, Co. Wexford.
      The evening will begin at 7pm with a Youth Mass celebrated by Bishop Denis Brennan, followed by a candlelight procession around the Island with our diocesan WYD cross.
      This will then be followed by a music concert by Elation, which will be accompanied by a free barbeque. It should be a relaxing, fun and faith-filled experience for all. Our target audience would be 15 to 35 year olds, but we don't need to operate a strict age policy.
      If you would like more information please contact me at 053 9377264 or by email. Basic overnight accomodation is possible if arranged with me well in advance.

      Adore 09, Eucharistic Youth Congress
      Taking place in Cork City, Friday -Sunday 11th-13th September 2009
      Age: 18-35 years
      Accommodation free of charge, Meals free and they are working on free transport
      Young people will learn the real Presence of Jesus Christ in the Eucharist which will have a profound effect on their lives. It will help you to realise ho much God loves yo, and fill you with Joy :)

    • New Speaker ADDED


      We have added a new speaker to our line up. Chris Stefanick.

      Christopher Stefanick is a highly effective speaker with years of experience in youth and young adult ministry. He’s also a proud husband and dad of four. Chris has served at parishes in the East Los Angeles area and in Pennsylvania, and as the Diocesan Director of Youth Ministry for La Crosse, WI. He is currently the Director of Youth, Young Adult and Campus Ministry for the Archdiocese of Denver.

      You can hear Chris regularly talking about the saints on Relevant Radio as the Vice President of the Dead Theologians Society and occasionally on Catholic Answers Live as one of their chastity speakers. Chris recently co-authored his first book with Matt Pinto, “Do I Have to Go? – 101 questions about the Mass, the Eucharist, and Your Spiritual Life” released in January 2008.

      Chris is going to give talks and workshops over the weekend. He is defo someone not to be missed

    • Update on Festival

      Hi guys just thought i'd keep everyone posted on whats going on with this years festival :)
      Its shaping up to be the BEST festival to date.
      We have ordered marquess, airbeds, heaters and much more!!
      BAscially this year we are going to make a little village of young people in Knock Shrine. We are going to have one food marquee, 3-4 sleeping marquee, one building for all the main events which will decked out with plasma screens, lights, dry ice, banners, (Elation Ministries centre stage to get us all going) and just a really great atmosphere (which of course you guys will provide), we will also have a marquee thats called "The chill out cafe" this will be decked out with couches, tables and chairs and in there you can get all your tea, coffee and buns and chill out for a little while between talks or at night where we will have acoustic sets (thats where you'll find me!!!) We're also gonna have workshops going on all over the place, so this July Knock is gonna be busy!
      Anyway we taking bookings on line or you can give us a ring and we'll send you out a booking form. Either way make sure your sleeping bag is in order and you've booked it off work :) :) :) ;)

      I have only two words to say about the festival,Well done.Organising the hip-hop gig on the friday night was a stroke of genius,and all who organised that deserve loads of credit,and regarding the workshops,the drums and the mime were brilliant.
      Overall and (this is only my opinion and loads of others will say so),that it was a magical experience.
      Again,Well done and God bless and Jesus is smiling down on you right now.
      PS.If you need a helping hand.(when obviously it'll be even better next year,Please Please give me a call,or send me a message,Because I had a blast,honestly.

It will be the first retreat Ive been to since last year :( Things have just been so hectic at home but getting better now thank God.
