- Volunteers Needed!
Have you a few hours to spare?
Would you like to join our enthusiastic band of volunteers?
Since the Arts Centre ceased to be a Council venue in October 1998 it has been run as a non profit taking charitable organization by Castlegate Arts Limited, a company set up by Aberdeen Arts Centre Association in conjunction with the many groups who use the Arts Centre.
Most of the work is carried out on a voluntary basis. Whether taking tickets for events, helping with re-decoration, assisting backstage, serving teas & coffees or drinks from the bar, giving a hand with administration - the jobs for which volunteers are required are many - and assistance is very much appreciated.
If you think you could help, give our Volunteer Co-ordinator Cindy Blackmore- a ring on 01224 635208 or 07877 094684. She will be delighted to tell you more. - CHILDREN'S SATURDAY DRAMA WORKSHOPS
- Drama workshops for children, led by Annie Inglis, Marie Skene and their teams run every Saturday thoughout the year (except Christmas and New Year). Activities include, Movement, Mime, Improvisation, Theatre Games, Acting Techniques and Poetry. Drama classes help to build confidence and self-esteem. Make new friends (and bring old ones!) Have fun - and if you catch the acting bug we can point you in the right direction!
Due to popular demand there are now two new classes for our younger participants.
