- The band formed in the late 80's as a band that would become world famous in 10 years. It all started at an illeagal gig that they got where they performed ruff-neck breaks at labyrinth in dalston. They completed there rave scene inthe early 90's with an epic "Charly". But in 1994 they peformed a gig that would completly change the band forever. The first performance of "Firestarter". From then they had more great tracks including "Smack my bitch up" of which the music video was banned from being played through the day and can only be seen late at night. The Prodigy have recorded 5 albums(their law,Experience,Music for the jilted generation,Fat of the land and Always outnumbered never outgunned)and are recording a new album which is said to be released later this year>
