    • The more money you have, the less money you have....

      So, like, I have a decent enough job yeah. So how come I never have any fuckin money anymore. When I was on the dole, or on minimum wage, I lived in the pub! Now I'm forced to drink like a fuckin student. Cans in the house before goin out, cheap drink in the pub. No more double Jack & Coke for Jay. This is just a load of me dicky, and it's indicative of the state of this country. The cost of living is just off the fuckin charts altogether.

      They're acutally pricing Irish people out of the pub. You hear that??? IRISH people OUT of the PUB!!! It's a notion so fuckin foreign that my brain nearly exploded when I wrote it.

      This country is headed for a fall and it's all cos Jack and Coke is too fuckin expenive. Do ya head me Cowan????


      Right, rant over. Go back to your fuckin overpriced laptop, and your overpriced broadband and your free porn.

    • My watch stopping caused my hangover.

      So, pub on Saturday.

      Forum afterwards.

      Comin towards the end of the forum, I checked the time..

      2:50am

      Ok, early yet, will get one last drink.

      Drank that, checked time...

      2:50am

      Grand, I'll leave now so. Hung around outside for a bit, talkin to people. Checked the time...

      So, sure we may aswell go to a session, it is after all only 2:50am. So, up to Daves house, get coats, try and get a taxi. Couldn't get a taxi, walked to Ballybricken and rang someone to collect us.

      He arrived hours later at 2:50am

      So, we got picked up, but had to stop at Brians house so he could make a sandwich. Then a stop at the 24hours, and then out the Cork Rd.

      But we arrived safe at the session at 2:50am.

      Stayed drinkin there for hours and I called a taxi at about 2:50am. Nice to go home early for a change, although very stranged that it's bright at 2:50am on Sept 16th......


      So, I got home at 2:50am and was woken up 4 hours later at 1pm....


      You do the math. Stoopid piece of shit watch.....

      Fuckin hard work!

      Really thought on Friday "I'm gettin too old for this shit." From the time we parked the car, to me opening a can took 5 hours. Campsite was miles, too much shit with us, tent was a NIGHTMARE! The instructions went.....

      1. Lay out tent

      2. Insert poles

      3. Erect Tent

      That was it!! Not a picture or anything. It was like SAS combat training..

      SOME fuckin weekend though. Best craic ever. Ya just had to make the most of it. Muse were unreal. Daft Punk were amazing. Also saw Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Jet, Biffy Clyro, New Young Pony Club, Kings of Leon, The Gossip, Klaxons, Snow Patrol, Director, and even some of Avril Lavigne.

      Highlights for me...

      Declan Chair,
      Trisha's wellie gettin stuck in mud,
      Trisha fallin on her arse in the mud,
      Aisling fallin on her arse in the mud,

      Me and John sittin outside the tent on deckchairs drinkin cans in the thunderstorm,
      Me gettin stuck in the mud and Maz not being able to help me with the laughin,
      Handlebash Moustar,
      Spud and the Jalepeno,


      So that's it. Great weekend, and thanks Aisling, Trisha, Maz, Pauline, Jamie, Emma, Johnno, Liamo, Spud and of course JOANNNNNNNNIE!!!!!! Not a bogie or a dry shite among the lot of yis.

      Oh and the reason I'm writin this is cos I'm already sick to fuck of people askin "So, how was Oxegen". If yer that interested ya should've gone.

      Cue some smart arse "How was Oxegen" comment...
