- OMG I haven't updated my profile in soooooo long. Currently Sorcha is studying (well thats one thing that'll never need updating - eternal student) and working and looking forward to the summer holidays.
The number one spot on "things Sorcha is looking forward to" is Electric Picnic, that once-a-year event that brings meaning to her boring life. lol.
Her dog Rosie (nearly a year old now) is the other big thing in her life, she sleeps and poos and requires walking from time to time, oh and the dog's pretty cool too.
Sorcha is committed to both teaching and her republican principles. She satisfies these commitments by being a teacher and a member of Sinn Féin. Clever girl.
Her other main interest is An Teanga Beo, the oul' Oirish Language. She is heading to the gaeltacht this summer with her sister and a few buddies (The extent of her summer holiday plans this year.... WOW!) for a brush up course, a bit of craic agus ceol, and whatever yer havin yerself.

- Greenday, snow patrol, Beatles, Damien Dempsey, and classical shite, loadsa classical shite. Trad, world, Buddha Bar, chillout classics, also good. I am now a newly enthused fan of Arcade Fire since my niece introduced me to their sound. Nice one Ró!
Also Warlords of Pez, seen at electric picnic this year, best craic ever, they did mass on the sunday morning and all those in attendance are definitely going to hell. Sacrilicious!! - Films
- blues brothers, any Greco-Roman classical stuff i.e. Troy, Nero (and yes even Alexander, though I appreciate it's one of the most badly acted films I've ever laid eyes upon). Rome series (HBO). Most comedies.

Mid Term Break!
I am currently lookin forward to the mid-term break which begins tomorrow, Friday 26th October. I'm off to Budapest for the week, got a few trips to the dentist planned and many many trips to the bars etc. Oh and of course the many cultural sights too. Any hints welcome if you've been before. I am so tired can't wait for the break. Anyone free tonight should come along to Sult Atha Cliaths 3rd Irish language session the season. Its on in the Vault at the back of Connolly Station. yep everybody is good. just winding down from the BEST star wars themed birthday party ever!! kids are up in bed and the adults are having a glass of wine...and me??well i'm on bebo!!tommy is the cutest lil thing ever!!i haven't seen him in so long! oh and bad news on the panto front. no kids!! my mam is trying to guilt trip cindy but its not working!!i think we need to draft in some more family!!
