- Lil' Wayne started his career as the youngest person in the Cash Money camp, as well as a member of the Hot Boys along with BG, Juvenile & Turk. After releasing their first album in 1997, the members of Hot Boys signed solo contracts. BG & Juvenile made their debuts before Lil' Wayne made his solo debut in 1999. After his first album, the Cash Money revolution was dying down. 'Lights Out' was released in 2000 and contained some of Mannie Fresh's best production to date. By this time Lil' Wayne was the only Hot Boys member left on the Cash Money label. BG, Juvenile and Turk were dropped from Cash Money. Lil' Wayne released '500 Degreez' in 2002. His latest album, 'Tha Carter' was released in 2004 and showed how the rapper has evolved from boy to man over the years. In 2005 he dropped the sequel to his fourth album. Lil' Wayne recently hooked-up with his pa Birdman for his sixth album titled, 'Like Father, Like Son.
