Maximum The Hormone is a Japanese Rock band, though leaning towards metal making them different from other J-rock bands. Originally, band members were siblings Ryo Kawakita and Nawo Kawakita, along with SUGI and KEY in 1998, but SUGI and KEY left in 2001, and late that year the band recruited Uehara Futoshi (Ue-chan) to fill the bass guitar, while Daisuke Tsuda (Daisuke Han) took the new position as "screaming vocalist".
Maximum The Hormone released 7 singles, 7 albums/EPs and 1 DVD.
