- I would love to embrace nihilism, but I've got one of these Bebo things when I got pestered 3 times in one week about if I had one. I'm an ex comic pimp for Asylum Books and Games and now an administrative assistant/data monkey for Iron Mountain who gets to go to BP every few weeks and call them slack bastards. BP pays more money, but involves less strippers.
I'm quiet and contemplative, with no use for tact and subtext. I also have a sick and twisted sense of humor, as well as an insanely scruffy beard.
- Music
- Mostly Industrial/EBM but there's a few other bands I like. Assemblage 23, Lights of Euphoria, VAST and Rotersand are favorites just now. Mpegradio.com and Winamp are necessary for my sanity. Anything with bleeps and noise tends to get my attention, and that doesn't always mean techno.
- Films
- Films are to entertain first and foremost. Stuff anyone who goes on about how you should watch such-and-such film because it has such a 'deep message'. Brotherhood of the Wolf, Oldboy, Nightwatch, Daywatch, The Prestige, Pan's Labyrinth, Dark City, the first Matrix film (Stuff the prettyness of the other two, pretty special effects don't make up for shoddy storytelling and crappy plotting). - Stuff I do
- Rock Climbing, Parkour ( I wish), European Swordfighting, Read, Write, Procrastonate, Digital Photography, trying to get back into the swim of game coding/modding
- Books/Comics/Games
- I normally go for modern-day horror but as always there are exceptions. Afterlife, Lies of Locke Lamara, Stuart MacBride's stuff (he's a sick, sick man), Fight Club, Fell, Action Philosophers, The Lies of Locke Lamara, Nightwatch, Daywatch, Twilight Watch, Sinfest, The Nightly News, Hellblazer, Green Arrow, Felix Castor novel's. Games I like include System Shock 2, Bioshock, Deus Ex, Portal and other unusual games. Not a fan of games that are very nice and pretty, but have sod-all gameplay.

- It rains, with tequilla, with mead, with decent food, with steak, with cute little puppies, in Edinburgh, wearing damn-good suits, left to my thoughts of people I can't stand suffering horrible and graphic demise, quiet pubs, decent ciders, Kopperberg, cruel and creative acts of vengence, both petty and gratuitious.

More details when I get them, but the plan is to get Moshulu and the Bassment to actually realise that getting rid of all the things that made it a good place to drink. By dressing up as pirates for the day.
Dress as a pirate for the 5th of June and turn up there for at least 9pm, probably earlier or later. They are doing promo's at the night (£1.50 a tequila shot), but if there are 400+ pirates there then they might take some notice and bring back good things (such as a decent cocktali menu and allow the bar staff to make things that arn't on it).
Work news-wise...
1) I'm finally pernament.
2) I've kinda been given a promotion, managing a back-up tape library.

Greg is awake on internet fumes.
1) Have new flat sorted; room in flat with mad Polish woman. When some rooms are going at £500+newborn child per month, you take what you get.
2) Seem to have internet fixed for desktop PC. Am not patching Windows yet, and now instead doing games. I know I should know better.
3) I am only tollerating work just now because I need money, I've been promised pernamency(5th time now), and I want to be around to see job-stealing hoor's getting commupances.

Thought I might be able to help with your msconfig/windows 2000 issue - If you have access to a Windows XP machine, simply copy the mscofig utility to your windows 2000 machine. It works on windows 2000 exactly as it does in XP... no idea why it wasn't there in the first place...
