- Skinny Puppy are undoubtedly one of the most influential and experimental acts to emerge from the Canadian Industrial scene in the early 1980s.
Self-releasing their first cassette in 1984, Skinny Puppy soon signed to Vancouver label Nettwerk, anchoring its early roster. From their Nettwerk debut EP Remission in 1984 to their 1992 album Last Rights, Skinny Puppy developed into an influential band with a dedicated cult following,[1] fusing elements of ambient, noise, new wave, electro and rock music and making innovative use of sampling. Over the course of several tours of North America and Europe in this period, they became known for theatrical, horror-themed live performances and videos, drawing attention to issues such as animal testing and chemical warfare.

Some news about Ogre's appearence in "REPO! The Genetic Opera"...
As it was brifely mentioned on the recently-updated OhGr website, it appears that SP's Nivek Ogre is going to appear on the film "REPO! The Genetic Opera", set to be released in 2008.
Some other people set to be in the film include Sarah Brightman, Paul Sorvino, and dare I mention it...*GASP* Paris Hilton.

Lol, dunno bout the chicken but I've cooked a pie while listening to Tormentor (Too Dark Park) it tasted "Quite lovely" nice page anyways..SP are the force to aspire to in my opinion..
Well, I can't say that I've ever cooked while listening to SP....But there's a line in Worlock which has always sounded like "Cordon Bleu" to me. It's food related!
