- Sinn Féin is a republican and labour party, taking its' inspiration from the politics of Wolfe Tone and the 1798 rebellion, James Connolly and the 1916 Easter Rising, and struggles' that have taken place worldwide against colonialism, imperialism and oppression.
Sinn Féin, organised throughout the island, is committed to achieving an end to British rule in Ireland and creating a 32 County Socialist Democratic Republic.
Sinn Féin is nationalist and internationalist. It is anti-imperialist, anti-fascist and anti-racist. We are a radical and campaigning movement for change with on the ground activists at our core.
Sinn Féin in the upper falls consists of three Cumainn, Andersonstown, Riverdale and Lenadoon. Based at Connolly House in the heart of West Belfast we are involved in a wide varying range of activities not just in relation to the national liberation struggle but also to improve and work with the local community to make the area a better place for all.

- Last diary entry of Óglach Bobby Sands M.P.
- 'Ní hé cinnte gurb é an áit as a dtigeann sé. Mura bhfuil siad in inmhe an fonn saoirse a scriosadh, ní bheadh siad in inmhe tú féin a bhriseadh. Ní bhrisfidh siad mé mar tá an fonn saoirse, agus saoirse mhuintir na hEireann i mo chroí.
Tiocfaidh lá éigin nuair a bheidh an fonn saoirse seo le taispeáint ag daoine go léir na hEireann ansin tchífidh muid éirí na gealaí.'
'If they aren't able to destroy the desire for freedom, they won't break you. They won't break me because the desire for freedom, and the freedom of the Irish people, is in my heart. The day will dawn when all the people of Ireland will have the desire for freedom to show.
It is then we'll see the rising of the moon.' - In the words of Che Guevara:
- 'Lets be realistic and attempt the impossible!'
- Óglach Terence MacSwiney
- "It is not those who can inflict the most, but those those who can endure the most who will conquer"
- Óglach Brian Keenan
- "Revolutionaries have to be pragmatic, wish lists are for Christmas. We need to remind people that we are for equality, fraternity and liberty" 1941 - 2008 As Gerry Adams' so fittingly put the degree of loss felt by us all at Brians' death "A Tree has fallen"

Attorney General Refuses to Review Sentences
As you may have heard, the british attorney general has decided not to review the sentences handed down to the three accused who were involved in our Daidí's murder.
We still have questions we need to have answered however, and the attorney general has agreed to meet with us and Gerry Adams.
We will want to find out exactly what was contained in the referral sent by the PPS to the attorney general - they never discussed this with us and we suspect that the terms of the referral were very narrow.
If you have an opinion on the sentences and the handling of the case by the PPS, feel free to email the attorney generals office with your concerns at the following address:

Thanks to everyone for all your help and support so far, we need it!

Cara25 weeks agoFollowing the horrific murder of Kevin McDaid and the physical assaults on his family and neighbours in Coleraine on Sunday 24th May, community workers from across Belfast have met to discuss their response to these events.
In the absence of Trade Unions, Politicians, or Churches organizing rallies or vigils to support the McDaid family and condemn these sectarian attacks, Belfast Community Workers are organizing a vigil at 12.30pm on Tuesday 2nd June outside Belfast City Hall.
The aim of this vigil is to give people across the city of Belfast the opportunity to express their sympathy and support for the McDaid family and for those who were injured in Coleraine last Sunday.
We are appealing to the Trade Union Movement and all the Churches to support this vigil.
