I managed to find my way to The Ambassador (Gina taught me well) and met up with Pad-Wad and Reg-face In to the Bodies exhibition we went,and had a good wander round.A few turned stomachs and many,many twisted sex jokes later,we disbanded with Paddy and headed back to Trinity Halls.I finally got to meet THE Brian (not that rascal Gav,though.Next time...).A quick booze trip later,and off we went to a house party.I ate a pancake,spinned in the garden,made some new friends,and got into a few pictures Those dern college students decided to go out,that wasn't good news for Mr. Underage...Off we walked,and got into the city centre circa...12.30am? maybe..? Rejected.Rejected.Rejected.Some espionage shiiiit was required here.As silent as the arctic fox,I managed to sneak into Doyle's,where I had been rejected not but 30 mins previously Wandered upstairs and danced the night away,it was really great music,actually And,I learned the 2 rules Rule 1: Don't move aside for guys.Rule 2 (Paddy's Rule): Don't move aside for girls.He's a charmer,ladies (Well,someone thought so,anyway ) The music stopped at 2.30am so onto the streets we went! I finally found Templebar,and Gina got a sign! She is destined to be a singer! Ahhh,Charlies! Chinese fooood! Oh god,sorry about the hoodie,Brian...Gina likes Charlies more than the majority of sex... (Sounds like a challenge,guys...).That taxi driver was as dry! Bed-time circa 4.30am,Gina had to be up in 2 hours I now sit on the train somewhere in Kildare Hoooome-tiiiime! Until next time... Thanks Gina Surely the best mid-term yet!

For some reason,I feel like writing a blog...
My adventures began at 6am on Friday morning.Yes,I awoke at the crack of dawn to get a bus to get a train to get to Croke Park for Dail na nOg 2009! The train journey was long and arduous,but it was certainly worth it When we got to Heuston,there was a bus waiting to bring a load of us to Croker.Anna and I jimmy'd up and started bustin' moves to Lady GaGa and Katy Perry,oblivious to everyone watching us Nothing new there Got to Croke Park,got off the bus,ambled for a minute,piled back onto the bus and went to the right side of Croker Arrived into Hogan Stand and had to wait in a huge queue to register,but being the snakes we are,we walked right to the front with no confrontation Had a quick walk round the place,got some leaflets and free stuff! Then onto the opening of the day,all 200 of piled together.The Minister for Children and Youth Affairs,Barry "Baz" Andrews gave a few words,too.Off we went into our 20 smaller groups of 10 people to discuss a topic,mine was suicide.We spent a good hour discussing this in detail and had to come up with a statement,an action plan.We finally decided on "The HSE needs to provide free suicide training for young people,so they can assist their peers to find an alternative to suicide",good,non? We were proud anyway After that,we got a presentation on what the DNN Council had done in the past year,and after this,we had a Q and A session with a panel of people involved in youth affairs.I really didn't think it would go well,but I was amazed with some of the questions people asked.We really put him under pressure to answer some,and if we weren't happy with the answer,he didn't get off the hook.This went on for about an hour,and when time ran out,there were at least 30 hands still raised.To finish the day,we got an electronic voting apparatus and voted on the statements that everyone had made,with only the top 3 getting further action.Sadly,ours didn't make the grade A few closing remarks from Minister Baz,some feedback,and we were out the door...Got free DNN bags,stationery,a memory stick etc.
