- Formed in the Summer of 2007, Following the split of two local bands The Kartels were formed by Philly, Aido and Dean. After a short stint as a 3 piece and a lot of searching the band finally found a bass player following an offer at Oxegen from Rob to switch from playing the guitar to start playing the bass, The band began working on new original material and working on there own sounds following there 1st few gigs the band have started recording there 1st few tracks and are currently putting together the final few touches to them in there studio
