Football and Drinking
I went to an American football match (Houston Texans v Miami Dolphins) the other day, needless to say it was fucking boring and I left early. There was a highlight though; when I noticed an old black guy in front of me sending a text message simply saying "Hey, how is your pussy?"
Was back in New Orleans last week and decided its a shit hole. The hurricane really fucked it, seems only dodgy bars and strip clubs survived!
On Thursday night I got reasonably drunk (cos I knew my boss was out of the office the next day). Went into a bar and a waitress/bar girl comes up to me asking if I wanna buy some test-tube shot things. Drunkenly I buy a couple for her and me and we down them. We then kiss for a while before a massive black bouncer pulls her off me and shouts at her, he also tells me not to pull bar staff in the future...eh ok! I got her number and the next day I text her and she says she got fired...oops!
Luckily on Saturday night I met up with a girl and some of her mates who the Hof and me met in the summer. Was good fun to actually talk to someone while drinking for a change and not just stare at my phone. Big highlight of the night; an old guy comes up to me and says:
"I can see your butt crack" (jeans were hanging a bit low)
"chuffed?"
Well he wasn’t and threatened to get some of his friends to talk to me. I decided it was probably best to move my belt up to the next notch (don’t worry Saf it was only for one night!)

New Orleans and Peterhead
Last week I had to fly down to New Orleans for a meeting. I go down with my top boss his title being ‘The President of the Americas’. Our hotel is on Bourbon Street the main party street and even for a Tuesday it seems pretty busy heaps of people drinking on the street etc.
We get in at about 10 and go for two beers in a bar across the road before retiring to our rooms just after 11 as he tells me he wants to leave the hotel at 6.30 to get to our office. So I set my alarm for 5:45 and go to bed. The next day I head down to the hotel lobby and it’s just past 6:30 but my boss isn’t there. 20 minutes later I ask at the desk if he’s checked out yet but he hasn’t. 40 minutes later I ring his room but there is no answer. An hour later I check to see if the rental car is still there and it is. 75 minutes later I try his room again but still no answer. Finally 90 minutes later I go back and knock on his door and I hear him moan “I’ll just meet you downstairs.” 10 minutes later he comes down looking like shit, I ask him if he slept in, and he goes on to tell me that after we went to our rooms he went back out and spent the whole night in a casino, what a cunt not only was I not invited but I got up fucking early for no reason!
On Saturday I went to a place called Galveston that I was informed was the Blackpool of Texas, a little island on the gulf coast, which I hoped, would be full of nightlife! On my arrival I discovered it was the Peterhead of Texas, a shit town on an island with one nightclub and a couple bars. Anyway I got fucked in my room on vodka and go out on my own. To cut a long story short, I can’t really remember much of the night except some magic moments:
1. Being in a strip club.
2. Waking up in a nightclub after what seemed a long sleep
3. Being back in the strip club and getting chucked out (It was closing time, I didn’t touch a chuff)
Well what a weekend spent 60 quid on a hotel in Peterhead, I won’t be back.

Five and Drive
Howdy,
Thought I’d keep you guys up to date with my goings on in Texas.
On Wednesday night I get a call from my boss saying that I need to go to Miami in the morning to meet a guy who I’m going to be working with. He’s on holiday and it’s the only chance to meet with him this month. Anyway it’s pretty sweet as I have about an hour meeting with him and then get to go out on ocean beach. It’s a pretty sweet place and was good to get fucked and not need to drive home.
On Saturday night I decided it was best to go out and finally hit a bar in Houston. So I had about five beers in the house and then made my way there, by car. The bar is about five miles away but it’s on my road so I thought there would be no problem. I was driving down when I noticed there was a police car right up my arse…fuck! I reduced to the speed limit and just hoped he would turn or overtake me but no luck. After about a mile the sirens and lights come on and I have to pull into the side, I’d probably put it up there in my top 5 scary moments ever. The officer comes over and starts asking me where I’m going with his head right into my face, obviously trying to smell my breath. He also asks if I own the car, which I don’t it’s a rental, because the number plates aren’t registered to that car. It kind of looks like I’m drink driving in a stolen car. Anyway I give him my rental agreement and he goes back to his car for about 15 minutes before coming back and luckily letting me go. Thank fuck, luckily five and drive does seem to be fine in the US. I then proceed to the bar, get fucked then drive home.
Some good news, discovered I've got a soccer channel as well so got to watch Man Utd – v – Arsenal in the comfort of my home, although had to get up at 10 for it. Away to New Orleans this week so should be fun!
