- I was born in Glasgow in 1975. Have lived in Glasgow ever since then and developed the dreaded Glasweigian accent despite having an Italian mother and a father who is half Polish and Half Scottish.
I recently quit my job at Response looking for new challenges. Hopefully will study Nursing
I have also been a volunteer first aider for the last 13 years - only 3 more years and I get awarded the Volunteer Medical Services Medal.
I am now also on the beginning of a long journey in which I hope to lose at least 10 - 12 stones in weight - for those who know me, they can tell how I feel at the moment. I've added a new photo of me taken in July 2007 by my cousin Margaret - By the time I get my medal in 3 years time, I WILL be a totally different person. - Music
- Classical Music with perhaps the odd bit of Rock Music, and an unhealthy obsession with the Eurovision Song Contest
- Films
- Munich - a Steven Spielberg film about the 1972 Munich Olympic Disaster and also a Sword of Gideon which is the original film about the said event also A Sense of Freedom - an autobiographical film about Jimmy Boyle (Sixties Gangster)
- Sports
- No Sports - Only sports I do is the 10k Great Scottish Run every year. This year will be my sixth attempt. I completed it in a quicker time than last year.
- Scared Of
- Not much but mainly horror movies which I cannot stand
- Happiest When
- Talking with friends, going swimming, being in the company of close friends and trying to get drunk (it must be the age again)
- Driven Mental When
- My Sky TV box starts to malfunction. Someday's I wish I could just throw it out the window

Hello me friends
Well, that's 2 days since I wrote my blog and I must say thanks to all my friends that put on their comments with advice, that was really much appreciated.
Feeling a wee bit better in myself. Just bought a smaller belt for my trousers 54" and it closes. Maybe next week, I'll be able to but a smaller waist trousers than my usual 60". Perhaps, I may not have been losing the weight in pounds but in my body shape.
I received an e-mail off my friend, who I was talking about in my blog, will see her at the T-In-The-Park festival in a fortnight. By the way - if any one of my bebo contacts is at T-In-The-Park, come to the medical tent and say hello (as long as you are not members of first aid - cause I will meet you all anyway.
I've not been at T-In-The-Park for 10 years now so this will be different for me especially as instead of camping it out at Balado, I'll be staying tn comfort at the Police College - By hell I have memories of that place from I course I did 9 years ago.
No update on my financial circumstances - need to speak to the Boss (My Father) for advice.
With regard to the comments, I even got one of an old friend from my Vertex Days who now lives on the other side of the world in sunny Australia.
Going out today to see a local festival.

Everything
Well that's me coming to the end of the first part of the Weight Management Classes. Lost some weight - but could have done better. Don't know if I am cut out for this weight loss.
Feeling absolutely down as hell at the moment - don't know why. Was okay on monday there but since then, downhill. Still thinking about one person who has been a great help to me over the years. Don't know if we will ever speak again. She knows who she is and I hope we will be able to speak again soon as I value her friendship so much. I have a life outside the many activities that I do
Thought I was winning with the debt battle - but today, 2 letters asking for just under £1000 within 7 days. They advised me to phone up CAB who said I was to come in but early and bring a book. what kind of advice is that. Cant even go to my dad - he has helped me enough over the years. might send him an e-mail - you never know.
Dont know who I'll be able to cope with all this - really feeling down at the moment. I need to escape somewhere for a long break - but everything costs money - something I do not have at the moment.
This is probably a load of rubbish what I am writing at the moment, but right now, I don't care.
Well - going back to the weight loss - choice of two things to go forward - calorie controlled diet or the dreaded slimming tablets. I think I am going to try the latter option again - they worked 2 years ago when I lost almost 4 1/2 stone - but as everyone says, stop them and you put the weight on - I found that out mega style.
Time to go now - typed enough - lets see how I feel soon- maybe extend the blog tommorow.
To that one person, I know I am different when I am in uniform, but remember, outside of that - I'm just a normal person.

Week 12
By hell, I am feeling like shit. Been off work for last 2 days, cant face going back but need the money.

ITS A GUN. you pretend to not see them hopeing they wont approch you. ur mate dosent see them but they are practicly right next to you. then your mate finds himself at gun point. the ring leader demands the drug money ur mate ows him. but you and your mate are skint. he tells your mate he will shoot him. he pulls the trigger. you jump out in front of the gun and the bullets go into you. you could barely make out the last thing you see. the gang of thugs running away, and your best mate who got you killed.
