Californian Omarion rose to fame while still a teen as a member of the groundbreaking urban ‘boy band’ B2K, who enjoyed Top 10 singles and a Gold album in the UK. His soulful vocals, key stage presence (he also has the dance moves to match Justin Timberlake and Usher) and undeniable charisma, allowed him to be recognised as an important new voice in contemporary hip-hop. He has already achieved the sales to go with his reputation with his debut album O and his sophomore album 21 looks like it will only increase that further. Omarion's undeniable media-geniality has led to numerous television guest appearances including "Punk'd," "The Sharon Osbourne Show," "Regis & Kelly" and "Soul Train." In addition to his musical performances, Omarion has acted on the big screen with key roles in "You Got Served" and "Fat Albert." Omarion stars in "Somebody Help Me," an innovative horror film.

    • What Are OBOIS?

      As a top selling artist, Grammy nominee, a new record deal with Young Money, what’s next for Omarion? Sneakers of course. “O” teamed up with Japanese footwear label MAD FOOT on a new silhouette that will be dropping at the end of the month.

      The Omarion x MAD FOOT OBOI will come in four colorways. Fit with the time, the high top features a a strap across the midfoot. Contrary to other artists sneakers, Omarion sticks with simple tonal colorways. MAD FOOT! has built a following in Japan, and that combined with Omarion’s fan base, should mean these shoes should sell pretty easily. Available June 25th.

    • Omarion & Bow Wow Nominated For Teen Choice Awards

      Omarion and Bow Wow has been nominated for a Teen Choice Award for R&B Track for Hey Baby(Jump Off). The show will be hosted by teen sensation singer and actress Miley Cyrus and will air on television August 4, 2008.       Manchester Confidential has two pairs of tickets to give away for the Sheridan Suite.

      Grammy nominated R&B singer, Omarion will be performing live in Manchester at the Sheridan Suite on Tuesday 8 April, and we have two pairs of tickets to give away.

      The former lead singer of boy-band B2K, will be singing hits from his debut album ‘O’ including his smash hit Icebox- a song fans might wish was a homage to his trusty fridge-freezer rather than his crusty bleeding heart.

      He will also perform singles Touch and Entourage and some show it is set to be. Omarion is one of those enviable performers who can sing and execute complex dance routines without a missed breath or bead of sweat. Damn him.

      Support will come in the form of Nathan, who was nominated alongside Amy Winehouse, Ne-Yo, Lemar and Akon for best R&B act at the 2007 Mobo Awards. The show is the first of a series of exclusive gigs at the Sheridan Suite in the coming months.
