Welcome to the Official Bebo of WYCC.
Our kayaking club, based in Melksham, is possibly one of the countries best.
We are active on 2 fronts
1) Playboating and general skills
2) Racing

Our playboating side meets at our headquarters, the Adventure Centre, every Wednesday at 6PM, then go to the pool in the Army base of Colerne.
Our racing side meets most evenings down the Adventure Centre at about 5.30pm.

We regularly attend races, and hold regular trips, ranging from the pleasantly easy to the extreme whitewater.
So, why not come join us?


PLAYBOATING: Using shorter boats for general skills and tricks.
Advantage: Tricks!

WHITEWATER RACERS: Racers using long composite boats to achieve the highest speed!
Advantage: Speed!

    WYCC had a good results show at the Dart last weekend, results were good!

    And Kev DID NOT twiddle with the results, and i dont know what reason he would have for messing with them, and who ever says that he did is wrong, and by saying that they are denying us of our talent.

      i deff agree with craig the irony is that i made some changing room signs too xD just havnt got round to printing off and he beat me too it :( :L but i dont know what u mean about leavin raceboats everywhere, mine goes home with me, so its not really to do with me, but everyone else tends to use the racks... hmmmm... aaah well :D x

Hasn't anyone noticed my changing rooms signs which persuade kids to put kit away? lol.. no cos people have probably pulled them down and stamped on them. And guys, don't leave your raceboats lying around. The other week I had to move them cos we had like a pile of 3 lying in front of the GPs. on a wednesday night. not clever? Nobodies side is without their faults, so lets get along without tearing each other to pieces. And if it was my call, I'd be sorting out these meetings for every month. Lol.

      You cant blaim it on jon he got other things to do...I think everyone who uses the club should help to make it look alot better to help are repertation and just something that we all can be proud of...Jon has done a faboulus job so far (and everyone who helped) We just need to do some finishing off.
