- Originally from the Island of Alaunus, Raven is an ancient Scottish warlord and the warrior's guide throughout the quest. Raven is both serious and dryly humorous, urging and pushing the warriors to do their best in all the challenges. He is quick to both praise their success and point out their failures, but always has a kind word for the warriors who are eliminated. He carries his Staff of Power (topped with a carving of a raven's head) with him at all times which allows him to bring warriors back when they lose a game, reveal the warriors' thoughts, recap what has happened previously, and both give and take away the warriors' lives from their standards. Raven is seen to have shape-shifting abilities as he is able to change into a raven at will (in both the opening and closing credits), and he is a skillful archer. In the spin-off show Raven: The Island, he sends the warriors off on their quest, and is seen throughout the series talking to Cyrus about the tasks the warriors face.

Hey there everyone...
