We thought the Thomas Dolby show would be the last you'd see of us for a while, but a few things cropped up in the interim that we just couldn't turn down:

1. Neosupervital have been asked to open for the one and only Pet Shop Boys this Saturday October 27th, at the Irish Museum of Modern Art, Kilmainham, Dublin 12.
It's part of the Some Days Never End series of shows. Doors are early at 6.30pm.

2. Neosupervital play the first birthday party of PPI award-winning music station Phantom 105.2fm this Hallowe'en eve, Wednesday October 31st, at Whelans, Wexford Street, Dublin 2. Also on the bill are the Chapters and Future Kings of Spain. There may also be fancy dress.

We'll be waffling to Edel Coffey on her Access All Areas show on Phantom 105.2fm this Tuesday at about 10.30am if you've a transistor handy.

3. Neosupervital play an almost-Christmas show with Belfast's ace Oppenheimer on Saturday December 15th in the Spring and Airbrake, Belfast, NI. Looking forward to getting back up north.

4. Neosupervital have been at it in the studio of late. We think you'll like the results, but you'll have to wait until 2008AD.

That should do it for 2007.

It's been some while since our last correspondence.

Here's a little glimpse of what we've been up to, in easy-to-read point form, from 1 to 8:

1. The album 'Neosupervital' is being distributed throughout Europe and beyond by the lovely people at Maquis Music, Paris. This was NSV live in Paris earlier this year:

2. Neosupervital have been making some exclusive one-off appearances at various events recently. The band launched the Becks Fusion series of shows at the Village, Dublin. Then Tim Vital rocked the Spiegeltent in Dublin as part of the Turning Pirate night during the Fringe Festival.

3. Tim Vital appears as special guest on the opening night of Live at Odessa Club, Dublin this Thursday, Sept. 27th. He'll be joining the house band to sing some NSV favourites and a cover or two as well. Members are free, otherwise it's €5 at the door. It's quite comfy in there.

4. Neosupervital play the fabulous Frock and Roll Charity Fashion Show at Dublin's Mansion House this Friday, Sept. 28th. NSV will be soundtracking the whole show, live, while Louise Redknapp (we like to remember her from her Eternal days) and Brendan Courtney host the whole thing. It's all in aid of Crumlin Children's Hospital Cancer Ward.

7. There are now three official Neosupervideos to watch, the latest being the long-lost video for Step Into the Sunshine. It was directed by the ace Niall Jackson and edited by the ace Zoe Ellis.

8. Neosupervital are currently writing and recording the second album, which is sounding very hot right now. It's due out in early 2008. Watch out.
