- Hi folks! Cosy suburban life has fallen apart and I find myself suddenly single with my three kids who are just fab - great fun.They make me laugh and encourage me to do ridiculous things. I work part time as Depute Head in a primary school and I'm on committees for practically everything (except the Orpheus!)I always take on too much and then instantly regret it.
I love pushing the boundaries and am proud that, on a recent hen night, I was the one who got to the top of the climbing wall first - before some of the hens were twenty years younger than me! I've been abseiling, white water rafting, motorbike racing and rallying to name but a few!
Music has always been a big part of my life and as well as singing I play the piano and violin. In my younger days I toured Europe with Perth Youth Orchestra and was in the National Youth Orchestra of Scotland. Now my violin gathers dust, appearing two or three times a year for Burns night, New Year and family get together

- My favourite film ever is The Sound of Music. I know every line off by heart. Also, The Big Chill; Bridget Jones; Pulp Fiction; one that I can't remember the name of but featured a nun and an Irish terrorist- made me laugh even with a colossal hangover. Period dramas such as Room with a View and of course Colin Firth in Pride and Prejudice. Have been a big Daniel Craig fan before Bond - loved Casino Royale. April Nash - I salute you!!

- I played rugby at college and still love watching it.

- Dying before I'm ready, rodents and creepy crawlies, bank statements.

- With my kids, singing, drinking wine with my friends, walking in the woods on a sunny day regardless of season, shopping, talking to my younger sister who is funny and ruthless in a way that I could never be.
