GRAND CHALLENGE FOOTBALL SEVENS TOURNAMENT in MINNIGAFF PLAYING FIELD –commencing at 10.30am between Galloway Thistle, Lochryan and East End boys clubs for the Golden Jubilee Charity Cup.
SASHING OF THE QUEEN ELECT CEREMONY at THE CREEBRIDGE HOUSE HOTEL starting at 1.30pm. Followed by an afternoon of Entertainment at its best -
PAGEANT “STARS IN THEIR EYES” & “PLAY YOUR CARDS RIGHT” with DJ STEVE WRIGHT,
SHIRTS, SHORTS and SHADES PARTY for the Children with Clowning and Magic from Douglas the Clown, Bouncy Castles, and lots of Fun and Games etc, Wear your groovy shirt and shades – prize for best “Cool Dude” and “Chirpy Chic” –Once again Kippy & Co playing for an Hour
BAR-B-QUE will operate all day plus Disco, live music, and a Children’s Treasure Hunt
JUNIOR FUN RUN starts from the CREEBRIDGE HOUSE HOTEL 3.00pm aged 5-16 years come along and join in
KARAOKE COMPETITION in the CROWN HOTEL starting at 7.30pm till 11.00pm

PAGEANT PET SHOW - At MINNIGAFF PAVILLION at 2pm – Various classes – Best performing pet – most unusual pet and most obedient pet. Large dog, small dog, cat, rabbit and bird classes. Entries taken on day. Entry Per Pet 50p

PAGEANT POOL COMPETITION in the STAR INN commencing at 7pm. Singles Competitions depending on entry. Entries taken on night. Pageant trophies and prizes to be won. Pairs will be played at a later date
PAGEANT KIDS DISCO age 12 and under DISCO DANCING COMPETITION in the McMILLAN HALL from 7.30pm to 10.00pm. – Come along and let your hair down and have a good time. Admission £1.00 at door
WEDNESDAY 25th JULY
PAGEANT CHILDRENS SPORTS in MINNIGAFF PARK starting at 2pm. Will include flat races, egg and spoon , three legged and wheelbarrow races.
CHILDRENS 5-a-side FOOTBALL at MINNIGAFF PLAYING FIELD age Groups – under 12s and under 8s on date. Five players plus a - Thursday 26th + Friday 27th July

PAGEANT OPEN ANGLING COMPETITION on the RIVER CREE. Entries taken from 6.30pm in Riverside Car Park where weigh-in will take place at midnight- don’t be the one that got away and join in the fun. !! Depending on the water levels !!
PAGEANT “TWO BOWL” COMPETITION at NEWTON STEWART BOWLING CLUB at 6.00pm onwards, Entries taken at clubhouse on night
FRIDAY 27th JULY
PAGEANT CHILDRENS ENTERTAINMENT and TEDDY BEARS PICNIC in McMILLAN HALL from 2pm until 4.00pm. Prizes for Best Dressed Teds so dress up your teddy bear and bring him along. DOUGLAS THE MAGIC CLOWN and DISCO will provide entertainment throughout the afternoon along with Disco music and lots and lots of games. Not to be missed by children and their parents. Admission 50p
PAGEANT PUB QUIZ in the CREE INN starting at 9.00pm. Trophy and Prizes to be won on General Knowledge, Music and Sport questions. Come along for a good night out before the Big Day. - Saturday 28th July
