• Reason, Season or a LIfetime

  People come into your life for a reason, a season or a lifetime. When you know which one it is, you will know what to do for that person. When someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need you have expressed. They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually. They may seem like a godsend and they are. They are there for the reason you need them to be. Then, without any wrongdoing on your part or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end. Sometimes they die. Sometimes they walk away. Sometimes they act up and force you to take a stand. What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled, their work is done. The prayer you sent up has been answered and now it is time to move on. Some people come into your life for a SEASON, because your turn has come to share, grow or learn. They bring you an experience of peace or make you laugh. They may teach you something you have never done. They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy. Believe it, it is real. But only for a season. LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons, things you must build upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation. Your job is to accept the lesson, love the person and put what you have learned to use in all other relationships and areas of your life. It is said that love is blind but friendship is clairvoyant. Thank you for being a part of my life, whether you were a reason, a season or a lifetime.

• It hurts to love

  It hurts to LOVE someone in return, but what is more painful is to LOVE someone and never find the courage to let the person know how you feel. Maybe God wants us to meet the wrong person before meeting the right person. Then we will know how to be grateful for that gift. Love is when you take a feeling, the passion in a relationship and find out you still care for that person. A sad thing in life is when you meet someone who means alot to you. Only to find in the end that it was never meant to be and that you just have to let go.
  
  When the door of happiness closes, another opens. But often times we look so long at the closed door that we do not see the one that has been opened for us. The best kind of friend is the kind that you can sit on the porch and swing with, never say a word, and then walk away, feeling as if it was the best conversation that you have ever had. Its true that we dont always know what we have been missing until it arrives. Giving someone all your LOVE is never an assurance that they will LOVE you back! Dont expect LOVE in return, just wait for it to grow in their hearts; but if it doesnt, be content it grew in yours.
  
  Never say goodbye if you still want to try - never give up if you still feel you can go on - never say you dont LOVE a person anymore if you cant let go. LOVE comes to those who still believe, although they've been betrayed and to those who have the courage and faith to build trust again. It takes only a minute to have a crush at someone, and an hour to like someone, but it takes a life-time to forget someone. Dont go for the look, they can be deceiving. Dont go for the wealth, even that fades away. Go for someone who makes you smile, coz it takes only a smile to make a dark day seem bright.
  
  Dream what you want to dream. Go where you want to go because you have one life and one chance to do all things you want to do. May you have enough happiness to make you sweet, enough trials to make you strong, and enough money for lots of gifts. A careless word may kindle strife, a cruel word may wrech a life, a timely word may level stress and a loving word may heal and bless.
  
  The beginning of LOVE is to let those we LOVE be just themselves and not twist them for our image, otherwise we LOVE only the reflection of ourselves we find in them. The happiness of the people dont neccesarily have the best of everything, they just make the most of everything that comes along their way. LOVE begins with a smile, grows with a kiss, and ends with a tear. The brightest fortune will always be based on a forgotten past, you cant go on well in life until you let go of your past failures and heartaches. When you were born, you were crying and everyone around you were smiling. Live your life so that when you die, you are the one who is smiling, and everyone around you is crying.
