Dave: I can smell Garlic...
Me: Don't know why, I had fish and chips.
Dave: Garlic Fish?
Me: No, their out of season
Dave:...I thought people just added Garlic to fish
Me: No, there's massive fleets of Garlic fish in the Pacific.
Dave: Fleets?
Me: Well, yeah, the garlic fish are huge, so you can't have them in shoals or schools since they sound too small, hence fleets of garlic fish...
Dave: Right...

So I'm back at University now, technically I start this week, but it's freshers week and mostly I've just been going to social events (Postgrad ones mostly, I suspect associating too much with the disgustingly young would get me looked askance...moreso).

Thing is though, every official event I've been to has stressed the amount of hard work that I'll have to put in (and the reading list for one course left everyone blinking), but has also left me enthused with my choice. Guess all I ever needed to do take charge and stop just moaning about things and actually do something about them.

On another note, I love this painting. There's something new every time I look at it and there a big empty space on my bedroom wall. Hmm...
