- Well MovieLand opened in March 1999--after a long waited delay!
And it's safe to say it gave Newtownards and other towns a shock when they first set eyes on the horrendous uniform!
((cheerleader skirts for the girls and dickie bow ties for the boys))... come on u love it boys
But eight yrs later the outrageous uniform is still going strong ((with a few minor adjustments ie: royal blue socks for the girlies! much to ernies satisfication))
and has never sought to put anyone off becoming a member of the work force!

Just wanted to write a wee bit about Eileen. Been there from the start ....and has been there for all of us.... Probably the best Manageress in the world...
