The wind of a thousand whispers
taunts me, pushes me to the ground.
The might of a million kisses
haunts me, but I cannot make a sound.
Where are you now, tonight?
Are you gone beyond my reach,
or in the peripheals of my sight?
Your eyes still dance, wickedly
at the splendor of the moment,
at the thought of my stupidity.
I should never have crossed your path
it all stemmed from the blatant naivety
that everything as it was would last.
The crash of our forsaking
hurts me, cuts oh so deep.
The crack of one heart breaking
shocks me, wakes me from clueless sleep.
Through dense forest may you stalk
marching onwards, forwards, until
from the stupor of your walk
you find yourself standing still.
Alone, forsaken, forgotten
but never, ever forgiven.

Yes it's true I've gotten very moody over you
Don't think I don't sense your caution way across the room
Or across the phone lines, big black ocean, or conversation brief
