Yes, I'm a geek. However, "Unlike any other geek" could be my motto. I work in the computer industry, but unlike so many of my cohorts, I have another whole life. I enjoy being outside; I find solace in sailing, hang gliding, boating, practicing the only art form in which I have any talent (photography) climbing, camping, and more. I never stopped reading and I adore books and will own a large library one day. I am not a doctor but I did play one on the `Net. I did study medicine once. I've held jobs as a journalist, editor, computer whore, carpenter, sailor, therapist, and cook. Some jobs even paid me a wage! I'm shy and quiet at first, but I'm working on changing; My goal is to meet new people, make some friends, tell a few bad jokes, and see what happens. I'm anti fascist, anti mega-corporations and I'm active in Food Not Bombs. I have eaten from dumpsters, willingly, multiple times. And I could say more but
