God gave me more than I could have asked for, yet left me more confused than ever at times... it's funny how the more you understand, the more you realise there is to understand... in some ways ignorance is bliss, but i think i prefer it this way. I'd rather have a purpose for living than none at all... I'd rather be a vessel which God can use to bring hope to a broken generation... Whether people realise it or not, the Cross still stands and the power of the Cross is as relevant today as it was yesterday, 100 years ago and 2000 years ago... If only people understood. Do we really care anymore? Do we actually understand God's great Power? How great and mighty he is? Last week i witnessed healing. In some ways i believe i was healed of certain things myself... Why is it that this doesn't seem to happen all the time? Is it perhaps because we don't ask? We don't depend on God's power? We lack faith?? I want to be a person who stands up for God in all situations. I want to be able to be used by God in any circumstance. Why is it so hard to get it round in our heads that NOTHING can 'beat' God... If we depend on him then nothing can harm us... (not even a wee mouse *doh*)
I want my mind to be renewed so that God CAN use me, no worries, no stress, just me living for God, 24/7. "If God ain't going with me, then I ain't going either...." Something we'd love to say.. but i dunno that people really think about it. I'm hungry to learn more. Yes I want to find out what happens in HP7 - and yes I have a copy, but right now I want to learn more about God, so that he can use me more. I want to learn to break down those barriers which coz me to shy away or ignore the voice which i know is telling me to do something which i should but don't want to...
God heals in the bible... so why not today?
God provides in the bible... so why not today?
God comforts in the bible... so why not today?
God is a God of justice in the bible... so why not today?
God knows our future in the bible... so why not today?
Why are we so intent in limiting God? Why don't we recieve the gifts he has for us? and most of all USE them????? Do you dream dreams? Or see visions? or have the gift of healing? If not, then maybe it's just coz you've not asked for that gift if it's yours to have... The gifts we are given from God are for us to build up the church... ever wondered why the church is slowly fading away? Perhaps we're just not listening to God enough anymore... instead it's about pews, and the colour of the walls... where did we lose our way?
O Lord help me in my unbelief - help me to follow you in all circumstances, not just the ones I choose... help me to live for you 24/7 not just when i feel like it... help me to choose to respond to your voice, help me to learn and grow so that your Spirit can be so alive in me that those who don't know you can see something 'different' in me and come to you... Help the church to rise up and listen to you more... O Lord, help me in my unbelief...

in my mood of procrastination this morning... i've been looking through pics on bebo... and was looking at my own picture albums... It amuses me how clean and tidy my flat is in those pictures... if only i was brave enough to take the same pictures again for you all to see *heh* ah well....
I love pictures though... so many nice memories =)
